URBAN ORGANISMS
3-day workshop with Katja Prins
June 9-11, 2017
Duration: 24 hours
The workshop will focus on individual guidance for the development of a more personal way of working.
Through the conceptual assignment “Urban Organisms” participants will have the chance to create a small series of work. However, the emphasis will be on concept and material research, sketching, creation of samples, drawing and reflection on the working process. In fact, it will all serve as a playground of new possibillities and challenges.
By the end of the seminar, participants will have come up with a small series of work, not necessarily finished pieces, but pieces rich in personal viewpoints, fascination and discoveries. The purpose is to make art and use jewelry as a medium in order to express oneself and therefore work from a personal point of view to develop a more personal way of working and a more personal “handwriting”.
And the most important: we will have fun! We will “play around” and discover possibilities!
