A basic way to link parts of a piece of jewelry involves hinges. We use them either to give motion to jewelry or to connect the parts that form a bracelet, a necklace etc.
The purpose of this seminar is to bring us into contact with this sort of linkage and at the same time focus on fasteners
– simple as well as more complex, like the tongue-fastener – by applying them on jewelry.
The participants attending this seminar will get familiar with measuring, soldering and precision in jewelry making.

Basic knowledge on silversmithing is a prerequisite.
Participants undertake the cost of materials.
