The seminar “Jewelry & Metalworking” focuses on the theories and traditional techniques of silversmithing/goldsmithing.
It is addressed to those who want to expand their knowledge on metal treatment techniques.
During the two-month seminar on soldering, participants – having acquired up to now some knowledge on the basic tools and techniques – will elaborate on the theory of soldering and other topics of metalworking, such as metals, their alloys and their properties. The objective is for participants to get familiar with soldering, as well as with the measurement and application of shapes on metal. Practice will involve the creation of a ring-sculpture by combining several three-dimensional forms.
